  • Lac Saint Pardoux is a 10 minute car ride from La Cour du Verger

  • Saint-Junien is about 40 minutes away.  Visit place Guy-Mocquet and environs for some wonderful chocolates and pâtisserie.

    Le Cyrano pâtisserie is well known for its chocolates with prunes soaked in orange liqueur.

    There is also a livestock market in the town centre every 3rd Saturday of the month.

  • Limoges Antiques Market - every 2nd Sunday of the month, held in the streets around the Cathedral.

  • Les Hérolles is the largest open-air market in France and is about 40 minutes from us.  It is held on the 29th of each month.

  • Visit Montmorillon.  Famous as the "City of Writing and Book Professions"
